I have been teaching yoga for over 15 years, 4 of which were with the
UW Women’s center, then 10 years at Ravenna Eckstein Community Center. She received a 200 hour certification from the Temple of Kriya yoga based in Chicago.
I believe that yoga is for everyone, regardless of their age, gender, race, size, and shape. Each pose can be modified to fit the needs of the individual and be beneficial.
At the very heart of yoga practice is “abyhasa,” a steady effort in the direction in which you want to go. The practice of yoga helps people who seek deeper meaning, better health, and a way to sustain an inner peace in the midst of our hectic and stressful lives. Come and see for yourself.
Namaste, the light in me solutes the light in you.
